Let's find out, shall we?

Online Classes don't get any better than this
I am almost done with online classes! I was supposed to finish two weeks ago (my primary goal) but I had to go literally out of town three times in a row thus far (guess what, I leave again next week as well agh). I want to promise I will finally submit everything, and I mean everything, but everytime I do, I break it. So I shall try something different, hm? I will not
promise anything. Perhaps then everything will be resolved

To hate, or
not to hate, moe
Fall Season for anime is upon us! Sorry, that's not completely accurate, ja? It actually started in September, but again, I have ot updated in oh-so long. Anyways, anyone have any recommendations from summer I might have missed? I hope to keep anyone updated, if interested at all, on the new anime I will be watching the next couple of weeks. Some anime I have already seen that I love and adore already: Kill la Kill, Miss Monochrome, Meganebu!, Coppelion, Kyouso'giga. Others I am wating for include Galilei Donna and Pupa. I have watched both Nagi no Asukara and Beyond the Boundaries (I forgot the romanji, apologies), but they are very iffy at the moment. To note, under the name of my sophisticated anime-watching belt, just because action scenes are epic, or animation is AMG BEAUTZ, does not
mean the anime is suddenly great. Just a forwarning to those who did not learn this lesson from Summer's release
Newest hobbies will be the death of me
Yes, I got into more hobbies, gah... I say this even though, at the same time, I complain on how much time I do not have. It's a giant enigma of my life, time is, I swear. Either way, I have been trying to find my "chibi" style still, so I sketch about +4 every day. Does not help, sadly, aha, but it's still worth the effort. I also halted my guitar-earring craft to spend more time on Korean and Vietnamese cooking. I love Pho so much, I try different vegetarian experiments all the time.
Some other weird hobbies I just started include my hair -I do not really know how to explain it? I woke up one day and did not have time to take a shower. This was the same morning I found my old bobby pins and hair clips. So, on the bus, I messed with my hair to look like Katara's (Why her, I have no idea... I felt like doing braids at the time, and this was the result). Surprisingly, it looked pretty good, for being a quick hairstyle on a moving bus with a few clips and no shower, hahaha! Now I do it a lot more often, and I got good at manipulating my hair for high ponytails. I plan to do Korra, Mai, Toph, Ty Lee, and Azula's hair as well, as soon as I craft the accessories. I've always wanted to cosplay all those Avatar:TLA characters, but I think making hair tutorials for the cosplayers would be better ^^
Other character's hair I want to experiment with: Sasha and Annie from SNK, Winry and Lust from FMA, Hungary and Belarus (and pretty much every long hair nation) of Hetalia, Hutsune and Gakupo (Vocaloids), and even Disney princess, the list is truly endless
I can't wait already! ~u
Vacation is not even close to over, oi
I went to Payson, Santa Monica, and L.A. (those last two are close to each other anyway) the couple weeks -just got back from L.A. We did soooo much, I honestly do not have the energy to list them, bwaha. I was just happy to be in Cali. again. That state was the longest place I ever lived in until I moved to Arizona years later. My brother was born in San Diego, but we've lived in that city, plus Oceanside, and goodness knows where else. Here in Arizona, Mesa is the longest city I've lived in ever, and I am glad ^^
But papa, just let me finish this one level real quick! *^*
Just like anime, I've been glued to my Playstation and 360 when I can to play new games I haven't gotten hands on until then. I'm still waiting for Remember, Tomb Raider, GTAV, the Last of Us, and other titles to lower prices to buy. However, Ni no Kuni (a game I've been waiting for since I first heard the rumor of it's release) and Diablo 3 (I had the PC version from a friend for a short time until now) are keeping me occupied. Also, I bought L.A. Noire finally ((lol, guess where... c'mon, guess :'D)) but my father is hogging it currently. We also purchased Borderlands because, my goodness, why we haven't owned that game I have not the slightest idea. Injustice was a game we rented recently and I have so many mixed feelings on it. I am also a little disappointed Zatanna, the DLC character, isn't completely accurate, even to new 52 standards. I think the hair was what bugged me most (yes, I am picky. I cosplayed her so I kind of have a say on how she should look xD)
Mirror, mirror, on the wall, why is Kori-sama so god damn small?
Nah nah, I love my shortness, aha. It keeps boys away, and I can lie and say I'm 13 for movie tickets and cheaper child passes ;u;
However, I noticed this past month about my changed hair and eye color. See, when I was a wee kiddie, my eyes were a bright bright brown, not hazel, but I don't like saying "golden" either ('cause that makes me sound more pompous than usual). My hair was also very light and had light, almost blonde, highlights. The hair was my father's, eyes, my mother. But my eyes, as realized while putting eyeliner on, have gotten a greenish-gray tint, a speckle of the hue in the very middle of all the brown. And my hair, suddenly has grown black roots! The strands are more aurburn, and darker, especially not in the Sun's rays. I find it cool to see change within me, since I don't grow any taller or wider :3
The Features call for change, the time is now! Row row, fight the powah!
Since a lot of people I feature for teh daily watchers thing are always on haitus or, frankly, don't necessarily communicate with me anymore, I found it easier, and quite more in haste, to skip those who moved accounts, or something of the latter. Expect to see these changes utilized in the next feature I am to do today!
Oh my, was that Cosplay Heaven?!
Referring back real quick to my time in L.A., I got VIP tours in Universal studios. I do not want to brag, but more like whisper some sweet envious news of the tour like getting to touch Scott Pilgrims bass, eating gold flakes ontop a famous dutch cupcake, walk in the set of a bunch of TV shows stages, aw man *0*
Sorry, I am just so glad my mother is friends with a millonaire :'D
Point is, I got to go to the costume building for a bunch of movies. I took tons of pictures, and snuck in a couple contact photos (didn't want them to yell at me "DO NOT TOUCH THE COSTUMES" bwahaha) on some dresses and suits from Snow White and the Huntsman. I hate the movie but it was super cool to mess with their clothes >XD
Just kidding, I barely got to 'mess' with them, I have far too much respect for the costume designers to do that. Still, it was cosplay heaven. Trust me, fellow cosplayers, those costumes are not as professional as you think! I swear I saw a crown from some Narnia movie that hot glued jewels to it! If you look real close you can see plenty of mistakes even normal cosplayers would do
haha, the chainmail was a surprise for me. I wasn't expecting it to be real but at least thought it'd be made of metal
You're just in that cosplay phase again, poor dear!
I chose a consecutive list of cosplay I hope to create in time of the conventions I will attend: Fem!Dirk (Homestuck) , Rosalind L. (Bioshock Infinite) Okappa (Plastic Neesan), dead!Aradia., fem!Kankri (again, bwaha), Meulin (all three also Homestuck), and Anna Dewitt (Bioshock:Inf) as an emergency
Also, if my friends are there and I cannot complete one of these outfits, other emergency cosplays will be Rue (Princess Tutu) and Paprika (Paprika)
The other options I postponed were: Fem!Denmark, Fem!Ezio, Elika, Wonder Woman, Zelda/Shiek, Jubilee, Ran Mao, Death (Deadpool version), etc...
Something smells like it's...burning?
I have yet to burn anything I have ever baked! Let's not kinx me just yet, ahaha!
After having a cooking blog on Tumblr for a couple months, I've been too shy to actually tag it and the posts I submit (therefore no one knows it even exists XD). I guess it is because I am so caught up in my Tekken and Black Rock Shooter blog (+600 followers on both, I'm so proud, and yet so overwhelmed
Perhaps I should start asking for admins so I don't have to look after the blogs on my own, aha
So instead, I gave my farewell to Tumblr, and laid out my card on Google's basic Blog site to start of my cooking/baking blog. I hope to promote it soon when I start submitting the recipes and photos up
The thing to get my promotion started is, I created this blog to differ a lot from other cooking blogs I vaguely know. For example, my blog will center recipes around the Asian, East and West European, and Middle east regions -with a few secret Hispania and Mex family recipes ;D. Also, I hope to feature both meat and vegetarian options for every recipe, as well as lactose-intolerance substitutes. Each recipe will have these options as well as different cooking methods, both metric and standard unit conversions. Also, whenever I have time, the recipes will be translated to Espanol (I should probably learn how to input accents into my keyboard again xD) and Russkij; if I ever further indulge my mandarin and duetch studies, I'd translate it to those languages as well ~u@
Are senior quotes meant ot be taken seriously?
I honestly don't know why senior quotes for the yearbook are so stressed over. I, myself, only cared about that factor when it came to the yearbook (didn't even dress up for my yearbook picture, ahaaa). It is odd, in the least, that everyone in my Comp 101 class gnarled and distressed over the simple slip of paper to be handed to the envelope at the end of the hour. I cannot say my quote was/is the best, but I knew the minute I heard Robert and Rosalind Lutece say the words while playing Bioshock Infinite, aha, it was my destiny to use it! Other quotes I wanted to use were either way too long, or had to be censored. For example, one I loved from Roy Mustang (FMA) was, "The world isn't perfect. But it's there for us, doing the best it can. And that's what makes it so damn beautiful." Well said, Mustang
I shall reveal the quote I used in one of my art pieces I have yet to finish and submit, stay tuned! *u*
Got any contests to shout out???
I really miss my Premium Membership, but I'm already paying for other meaningless things, lulz, so I would very much like to enter contests later when I can to earn some membership back *laughs and crais*
If you have any type of contest you'd be willing to share, whether it started months ago or won't start for a while, let me know -I'd love to help out with prizes, entries, and features! I already am keeping track of four thus far, and I hope this list will grow:
^some have already ended, or are ending soon. I'll make sur eto better organize such information in another journal whenever I can QuQ
Quick anime reviews, from me to you!
Ready? First impression on Fall anime because I feel like i need to culture some viewers once in a while *pompous head toss* hmph:
Nagi no Asukara- Animation is beyond extraordinary for a studio I have not admired yet. The plot is also a major *kyaaa*, as it, to simply put, bases on the theme of people living in the ocean having to cope with people on land. TO be specific, it centers around a group of kids having to go to a school on land, because their's in the ocean was closed. The first episode nibbled a few perks on the points of bullying, society differences, interesting characters, and eye-candy scenery. However, for now, I am already dissatisfied by the voice acting (moe and annoying shrilly voices must be banished to Oblivion, I swear), the progression (it seems a bit slow, but perhaps that is best for being the first episode?), and the god awful cliche love triangle (I pray to the anime gods that this will not be the case for this season).
Miss Monochrome- if you liked the vocaloid, or little vocaloid shows to begin with, you'll like this! It's short, sweet, cute, and well worth 4 minutes of your time ;u; I personally like the vocaloid and her monochrome personality, and so the thought of making a short story about her was great!
Meganebu!- This, I fell in love with the minute I saw it (like Coppelion). It's literally about a Glasses club of boys who love glasses. Think of Free! but of course way better, no fanservice (so far), and way more quirky ;u; that's all I shall say, just watch it so far, ist gut!
I'll rant about how great Coppelion, Kill La Kill, and Kyousogiga on another journal entry
(and not so great starting shows like Beyond the Boundaries) also, Valvrave came back, anyone excited?!
Features of both watchers and artists I have come across in the last month to be released! Thanks for reading any of this, have a great day as always, and I hope to hear from you all soon! <3
PS: So glad I got to finish this just now! Been writing bits and pieces almost literally all day whenever I finished chores, homework, and shtuff, aha~!
Love, Mother Russia ;3;
